My recording is incomplete - the card in my recorder failed and I only got up to half way through Princess.
Greg - the taper next to me had a battery issue and missed a chunk of the show in the middle.
The other taper named Chris got the full show but I don't know if/when he'll post it. He's posted previous Matt recordings so hopefully this one will surface. If not between what Greg got and what I got we can post a full version to archive.org.
Thanks to the many St John Fisher student volunteers for making the evening run so smoothly.

Went to the Iowa City show and was told that taping was not allowed. Security said it was by Matt's request. Don't understand why the show before Iowa City taping was allowed and not the night I went.
Did see a lot of people recording with their phones though

He was in PA the night before, I don't know if they taped there. I'm not sure it was by Matt's request or they just stated that. Venues aren't always honest. |

that is absolutely not true. we always allow audio recording!!! |

Megan,
I was told by multiple people that I was not allowed to tape. I told them Matt was cool with it and they said he wasn't for that night. When I went looking through my bag, someone came over and again told me that I was not allowed to tape (and asked me what I was doing with my gear).
So apparently Iowa is the Liar's State.
I do have the entire show that I captured with my phone. It's a meager attempt at recording, but if it's ok with Matt, I could slice out the new song and post it somewhere?

Which song? Bottom of the Sea? There is a really good audio copy of it from when he sang it live on KFOG before the Giants opener where he did the National Anthem. |
